JOE CARRELL

 A Nashville-based producer, mixer, and recording engineer with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of working across a multitude of genres, including rock, country, pop, jazz, gospel, and bluegrass. This versatility has led to collaborations with a diverse array of artists, from seasoned musicians to emerging talents.

Joe's exceptional work has earned him 12 Grammy nominations for albums he mixed and/or recorded. He has mixed 39 charting number-one hits and numerous Billboard Top Ten singles across various categories, underscoring his impact on the industry.

I always look forward to Joe’s videos on all things recording/mixing. His videos have helped me tremendously with my mixes and a lot of his techniques are now my techniques. Your videos helped me a lot! Not when it comes to copying some kind of parameters, but when it comes to the mindset of the mixing engineer.
